Nice to meet you! Welcome to my website!

I’m a Berlin-based artist and educator from Finland, who likes to explore playful ways to connect with technology. Besides building electronic objects and installations, I give courses and workshops on topics ranging from low-tech robots and electromechanics to electronic textiles. I work quite often with my partner Niklas Roy. On this website, you can find DIY cyborgs, paintings turned into machines, rockets, post-apocalyptic looms, e-embroidery and creature drawings, among other things.

I draw inspiration from DIY culture, recycled electronics, popular science, traditional crafts and humorous storytelling. Creative use of openly licensed cultural content is also close to my heart. I like to publish my project documentation so that others can build upon it – usually under the Creative Commons Attribution license – so please go ahead and remix further!

Drop me a line if you are interested in collaboration or just want to say hi:
